Call for Contributions
Are you a researcher conducting research that supports sustainable development or humanitarian action in low- or middle-income countries? Does your research offer valuable insights for practitioners or policymakers, or have you developed an innovative solution to address a pressing development or humanitarian challenge?
Join the ETH Latsis Symposium on Science for Global Development and Humanitarian Action, 10-12th of September 2025, and present your research in a short presentation and discuss it with other researchers and decision-makers in a poster session.
Any research that offers innovative scientific solutions that contribute to sustainable development or humanitarian action are considered, but we particularly encourage applications by researchers who work on the following topics: global health, inclusive climate adaptation/energy, sustainable housing/infrastructure, and innovative solutions for humanitarian work and peacebuilding.
Please note: Submissions should present research that has already been conducted and is currently being written up in the form of a paper. While publication is not required, there should be a paper in progress that reflects the research to be presented.
Submission Deadline:
Extended to 8 June 2025.
Submissions will be evaluated by anonymous reviewers and then selected by the programme committee.
